Why is the Body Jet Method such a Good Procedure?

The water-jet process makes the removal of the fat easier with less destruction of the surrounding tissues. The internal structural tissues are not torn apart as with traditional liposuction, resulting in less trauma to vessels, nerves, and other non-fat tissues. At the same time, the fat cells are more preserved and can be utilized for augmentation purposes. Imagine having your excess fat removed with minimal trauma to your tissues; the result is less pain and less bleeding/bruising postoperatively.

How is the BodyJet Liposculpture Procedure Performed?
The Bodyjet procedure is normally performed while you’re awake. The lidocaine numbs the areas to be treated so you don’t feel any pain. Thus, you don’t have to recover from a general anesthetic, plus you eliminate the potential complications that can sometimes accompany general anesthesia. Using local anesthetics and mild sedation makes this procedure extremely safe. In addition, you can reposition yourself during the procedure to make sure the different areas are treated and your body is sculptured precisely as desired.

Are there Complications from the Body Jet Procedure?
Scarring is very minimal. The cannulas are placed through the skin through very small openings less than a fourth of an inch. These usually heal well and are not very noticeable. In addition, they are usually placed in areas covered by clothing is possible. Because the fluid instilled is suctioned out at the same time, there is less swelling in the areas treated. Thus, distortion is kept to a minimum, decreasing the risk of contour irregularities that can sometimes accompany liposuction procedures. All other potential complications that can occur with Liposuction could also occur with BodyJet Liposculpture.

Is the Downtime the Same as Liposuction surgery?
Time off work is about the same as tumescent liposuction surgery, which is very minimal. Imagine having liposuction surgery one day, and returning to near normal activities almost immediately. Sometimes people return to work the next day because of the reduced trauma to the tissues that these technologies deliver. They are truly a dream come true.

How is the Fat Harvested and Reinjected?
The BodyJet harvests the fat during the body contouring phase of the procedure. After the fat is collected, it can then be reinjected through special cannulas to augment desired body areas. The fat is cleaned and processed during the procedure and has been preserved through the gentleness of the process.

What Areas are Usually Augmented?
Many patients want their buttocks augmented. Called the Brazilian Butt Lift, it gives the shape of the buttocks a more sensual look that is culture specific. Another area that is popular are the breasts, and Natural Breast Aug is gaining favor as a method for breast enhancement using a women’s own fat. Other women may have excess sagging of the facial areas due to loss of fat in the face. Fat Balancing can be performed that can help these areas achieve a more youthful appearance to their face.
